Our small (hobby) wine farm ..

Our Portuguese quinta (= farm) is located in the heart of northern Portugal, in a hilly, authentic terraced landscape, where a lot of small-scale wine and agriculture is practiced.

Hidden between vineyards, forests and adjacent to a babbling brook, we offer our guests a stay on our estate of over 2.5 hectares.

On our quinta we grow wine and olives on a small scale as a hobby, and  we make our own wine every year. We also have a vegetable garden, an orchard, we grow mushrooms, a piece of forest and some animals.

In this rustic and sunny environment you can enjoy the outdoors and life close to nature. There are plenty of opportunities for fishing, hiking and mountain biking (free use of our mountain bikes!) Yet we certainly don't live isolated; nice villages with fine facilities are located at 3 and 7 km. There are also plenty of fun excursions in the area.

In recent years we have  We had many friends & family over, who were very enthusiastic about our quinta, hospitality and the joy of freedom here.

That's how the idea was born to  two sustainable safari lodges  on our land  to build, so too  to receive guests!

We have a covered terrace surrounded by vines, where we can -if desired- provide your breakfast in the morning and have a nice dinner twice a week, incl. wine and coffee for 10.00 euros pp
On the terrace we have
WiFi, so you can use the internet for free on your tablet, laptop or smartphone.
